Working Together to Safeguard Children
This course is aimed at practitioners whose role involves working with children and young people.
The course content will expand on the basic safeguarding induction session provided by your own agency and is aimed at those who may not have attended multi-agency safeguarding training previously or require refresher training.
- This course will provide practitioners with the knowledge to understand what is meant by the term safeguarding
- To become familiar with Bury's thresholds, key legislation, policies and procedures
- How to identify the categories of abuse and to consider some of the signs and symptoms
- Understand own roles and responsibilites to promote multi-agency working and safeguarding
