Complexities of Domestic Abuse - Virtual course
This course is suitable for workers across both services whose roles bring them into contact with adults, familes, children and young people.
Please note, places will be allocated to ensure a multi-agency mix of participants. You will recieve confirmation 4 weeks before the start date.
This course will refresh your awareness around 'what is domestic abuse' to help support an increase in your knowledge around the impact domestic abuse has on children, young people and families.
It will give you an understanding of the various roles and agencies that provide support as well as developing your confidence to complete appropriate forms such as DASH.
The course will also look in detail at coercive control, help develop confidence to discuss concerns about domestic abuse at an early stage with victims/survivors.
How to share and refer concerns and raise awareness of the support and local services available to victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
